Jack Doohan Abandons Miami GP in First Lap

The Australian Alpine driver, Jack Doohan, was forced to retire on the first lap of the Miami GP due to a puncture in one of his tires. This situation could bring Argentine Franco Colapinto closer to his return to Formula 1.

Jack Doohan started the race in fourteenth position and was overtaken by Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls) at the start. After a clash in the first corner, Doohan had to retire from the race early, ending his sixth race of the year in the worst possible way.

Doohan's bad luck in Formula 1 continues, as he has experienced various retirements, received penalties for incorrect maneuvers, and still has not managed to score points this season. Rumors about the possibility of Colapinto replacing him in Imola, where the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix will take place, add additional pressure to the situation.

In Jack Doohan's words about the incident at the Miami GP: "It was a complicated race from the start. Unfortunately, the puncture in my tire complicated everything, and it ended in a retirement. I will continue working hard to improve and turn this situation around in the upcoming races."
