The 2025 Formula 1 season kicked off with the debut of various drivers like Isack Hadjar, in RBo with Bortoleto for Sauber. However, it's not the only new thing in the 'Grand Circus,' as the sponsorship of Moët & Chandon also returns. On the podium of the 2025 Australian Grand Prix, won by Lando Norris from McLaren, the symbols of the fashion brand Louis Vuitton, which is related to Moët & Chandon, appeared.
The two brands belong to the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton company, owned by businessman Bernard Arnault, who in 2022 ranked second on the list of the richest people in the world. Moët & Chandon returns as a sponsor of F1, taking the place of the Ferrari Trento brand in the 2025 season.
On the podium, we saw Lando Norris celebrating with a bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne, and in the background, the logo of the luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton was visible. "Since 1950, Moët & Chandon has been associated with the victories of legendary champions... Now, as Formula 1 embarks on this historic anniversary, Moët & Chandon proudly returns to the podium," they expressed on the official beverage page.
The cost of a bottle of this champagne ranges between 1500 and 2100 pesos, depending on the place of purchase. Moët Imperial, the most emblematic champagne of the Maison, is characterized by vibrant fruit, a seductive palate, and elegant maturity.
In addition to apple, the fruits that make up the flavor of the alcoholic beverage are pear and peach. Alongside the return of champagne to F1, the fashion brand Louis Vuitton joined as a sponsor of the Grand Circus.
Bernard Arnault, owner of Moët & Chandon and F1 sponsor, was born in 1949 in France. His empire began in 1984 by acquiring Christian Dior and then LVMH in 1989. Arnault has a fortune of around 200 billion dollars according to Bloomberg 2024 and five children who are involved in the business of his company.
LVMH, in addition to luxury fashion brands, also engages in alcoholic beverages like Moët & Chandon, which was the official champagne sponsor of Formula 1 in 1950.
