Hamilton Faces Tough Debut with Ferrari in Australia GP

Driver Lewis Hamilton revealed having braking and rear stability problems, especially with power during the Australian Grand Prix. In conversations with his engineer Riccardo Adami, he expressed his frustration over technical difficulties. After the race, Hamilton thanked avoiding crashing into the wall and emphasized the need to assess the performance of his new Ferrari team car to make adjustments.

Hamilton, who started the race in eighth position, finished in tenth place, earning only one point. The decision not to change tires temporarily brought the British driver and his teammate Charles Leclerc to first and second positions, respectively, but challenging weather conditions caused them to lose positions.

The driver highlighted the lack of confidence in his car and the need for modifications for the next race. Despite not crashing, Hamilton described the race as one of the most challenging of his career due to the weather conditions and the difficulty in controlling the car.

Radio discussions with the Ferrari team, including disagreements over strategy during the anticipated rain, added pressure to the race. Although Hamilton valued the work of his engineer, he expressed disappointment for not seizing a possible opportunity and for the technical complications he faced in his debut with the Italian team.
