Isack Hadjar Faces Challenge in F1 Debut

Isack Hadjar, rookie of the 2025 Formula 1 season, could not participate in the Australian Grand Prix 2025 because he crashed during the formation lap and, upon returning to the paddock, was consoled by Anthony Hamilton, father of Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari driver. This gesture was described by Hadjar as something "significant" for him.

Hadjar had a standout performance in the Australian GP qualifying by finishing in eleventh place, which he was supposed to occupy on the starting grid. However, during the race, on the formation lap in the rain, he lost control of his car and crashed into the barrier, preventing him from continuing in the competition.

The first race of the 2025 F1 season was filled with incidents, with several drivers quitting due to crashes, including Liam Lawson from Red Bull, Carlos Sainz from Williams, Bortoleto from Sauber, and Fernando Alonso from Aston Martin.

Anthony Hamilton consoled Hadjar after his retirement, acknowledging the difficulties of the moment: "You will come back," he expressed to him. Hadjar, visibly affected, showed embarrassment over the situation and regretted not being able to compete in rainy conditions, a valuable experience for a rookie in F1.

Hadjar shared his admiration for Lewis Hamilton on several occasions and is inspired by the achievements of the Ferrari driver. Despite his setback in Australia, he hopes to recover and prove his worth in future races. His desire to take on the pressure of competing in Formula 1 remains firm, despite the initial difficulties.
