British driver Lando Norris (McLaren) secured pole position in the Australian Grand Prix, marking the start of the 2025 Formula 1 season. Among the surprises in qualifying, Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda stood out in fifth place with his Racing Bulls, as well as Williams drivers, Thai Alexander Albon and Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr., who secured positions in Q3 and will start from sixth and tenth respectively. Pierre Gasly (Alpine) will start from ninth position.
