In the first free practice session of Formula 1 at the Albert Park track in Australia, the British McLaren Mercedes team pilot Lando Norris set the fastest time. The Spanish Carlos Sainz from Williams and Monacan Charles Leclerc from Ferrari placed second and third, respectively.
On the Fernand Alonso track in Aston Martin, he showed the 16th result, Lewis Hamilton on Ferrari was in ninth place, and Max Verstappen on Red Bull was in eighth place.
