The Red Bull Formula 1 team introduced Max Verstappen and his New Zealand teammate Liam Lawson. Meanwhile, McLaren seems to be leading the championship with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. In the Bahrain tests, McLaren showed great pace and reserved part of its potential for Australia.
The focus will be on Ferrari with Charles Leclerc and seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton. At Mercedes, George Russell will be looking to fight for the title. Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan will start as starters alongside Gasly and Doohan at Alpine.
The remaining teams include Racing Bulls, Sauber, and Haas. Red Bull will feature debutant Italian Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Aston Martin, with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, is hoping for improvements by 2026. Williams bets on Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz Jr.
Alpine will be closely followed by Argentines. The 2025 Formula 1 season will start with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. A competitive season is expected after Max Verstappen's poor performance at the end of 2024.
