Australian police have charged a man suspected of the Bondi Beach attack with terrorism and the murder of 15 people. The suspect is identified as Naveed Akram. He also faces a number of other charges. Initial indicators suggest the attack was inspired by the terrorist organization ISIS, which is on Australia's terrorism list. Police stated that 'the man will be charged in court with conduct causing death and grievous bodily harm, with endangering the lives of people for the purpose of advancing a religious cause, and with inducing fear in the community'.
