On Tuesday, the Australian police announced the arrest of 14 individuals connected with organized crime. The police conducted a series of raids in several regions and cities across the country, which led to arrests of computer hackers, car thieves, narcotic traffickers, and other criminals.
Specialized police units participated in the operation, including a task force focused on cybercrime and narcotics. This successful operation was the result of prolonged investigations.
"We arrested dangerous criminals who posed serious threats to the community. Our work against crime never stops," said a police representative.
During searches and arrests, a significant amount of computer equipment, weapons, narcotics, and other items related to criminal activity was seized. The arrested individuals will be presented before the courts, where they will face charges in accordance with the country's anti-crime legislation.
