The news of his death was confirmed by Zumbi Brasil in a Facebook message where he mourned the loss of what he called 'our great friend.'

Vanilla Vargas, a model and wrestler who had a daughter with Australian Suicide, referred to his death requesting financial support to repatriate his body to Australia. Vargas expressed: 'I want to share that my daughter's father has unexpectedly passed away. The causes of his death are currently unknown.'

Australian Suicide was born in Melbourne, Australia, on December 9, 1992, and began his career in Mexican wrestling in 2013. Throughout his career, he partnered with wrestlers like Jack Evans and Angélico. In 2016, he won the Copa Triplemanía XXIV, and months later revealed his identity in a mask versus hair match in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

The company Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide expressed its condolences for the passing of Broderick M. Shepherd, known as Australian Suicide, and noted that the priority is to fulfill the wrestler's family's wish for him to rest in his home country. According to Vanilla Vargas, they have a deadline of 48 hours to raise the $10,000 needed for the repatriation process.
