The Australian case once again puts the spotlight on Iran's strategy of exporting terrorism as a tool of foreign policy, and reinforces Israel's warnings about the need for a coordinated response from Western democracies to the expansion of the Quds Force's operations. Canberra expelled the Iranian ambassador and, in an unprecedented decision since World War II, included the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the list of terrorist organizations.
